After a few run ins with OS and connections we are back up and running. Good Thymes.
We will be upgrading systems and working on some new infrastructure to get ready for the official launch. We’ll be back in 2 weeks. Thanks for your patience!
Finished the upgrade. Seems to be running really well. ll told we lost about 6 minutes of streaming. We should be able to handle up to about 25 listeners at a time now. Thanks for your patience.
Replacing the server tonight. Faster, Cooler. Louder.
We’ve definately solidified the streamand have enough bandwidth for up to 30 listeners at a time to never have to rebnuffer on account of our system so I declair a successful Beta period. However, we will not be making crush.fm available to the public until all of our drops are in place. You know… DROPs, BUMPERS, STATION IDs. Those little doodads that say “You are listening to CRUSH.FM…” We have a few of our friends submitting them but if you want to take a crack at it go for it. Send them to trax@crush.fm or use AIM to transfer them to “CRUSHFMLIVE”.
Thanks for checking out CRUSH.FM. We will be beta testing our new stream until mid October at which time the stream will become public. If you have any comments or constructive criticism please leave them below!
